Exciting news! I will spend part of my summer as a local Missionary, serving with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) an interdenominational faith missionary organization that reaches boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

As a Missionary, I will be teaching 5-Day Clubs (Bible clubs) throughout our local area.  I will also be serving and teaching at Camp Good News! The special training I will receive is called CYIA.   

I want to serve as a Missionary because I felt like God was asking me to work with children and then I heard about this opportunity at a Missionary day that my homeschool co-op hosted. I want to be obedient in serving Christ and sharing the gospel. I want to be a role model and see other kids come to know Christ. Please pray for me as I step out of my comfort zone to spend a week away from home. Also pray for me to be able to learn and memorize all that I need to in that week of training.

CEF is dependent on God for financial needs. Therefore, I am asking God to raise up a support team who will pray and give financially. Funds raised will be used for training, travel, and other expenses when holding clubs. The total funds I need to raise is $500.00. Funds given over this amount will help our team to continue to expand the ministry to local children throughout the year.  Will you pray and ask God how He would have you be a part of my ministry this summer (and beyond)? 

Missionaries attend one week of training called CYIA (Christian Youth In Action). Training includes teaching Bible lessons, sharing the Gospel, counseling for salvation, and much more. Training equips them to reach children in partnership with CEF and Local Churches year-round.  Many teaching opportunities are available such as Camp Good News, Good News Clubs, Five Day Clubs, and Party Clubs.
